Purple Line Transit Partners Hosts Successful Jobseeker/Small Business Open House

More than 100 visitors attended the Purple Line Transit Partners’ (PLTP) Open House on Saturday, May 20, 2017 to learn about the job and small business opportunities that will become available once construction can begin on the Purple Line. At the event, the concessionaire team was joined by leaders from the Maryland Transit Administration in welcoming attendees and encouraging them to prepare in advance for upcoming employment and contracting opportunities. Information on training resources was available at the event, and participants were encouraged to register at PLTP’s Job Center, located at the project’s headquarters at 6811 Kenilworth Avenue in Riverdale Park, MD.
